Digital Still Camera (DSC) Recording
• Select FULL to take a full screen
snapshot with no frame.
• Select PIN-UP to have the snapshot
framed like a picture.
• Select MULTI-4 to take four
continuous pictures and display
them as one.
• Select MULTI-9 to take nine
continuous pictures and display
them as one.

6. Press the PUSH dial twice to select a
type of SNAPSHOT and remove the
menus.
7. An indicator for PIN-UP, MULTI-4,
or MULTI-9 will appear in the
viewfinder and on the LCD monitor.
• No indicator appears when you
select FULL.
• P appears when you select PIN-UP.
• M4 appears when you select
MULTI-4.
• M9 appears when you select
MULTI-9.
Notes: If you press SNAPSHOT with the
DSC /VIDEO switch set to VIDEO, the
picture is stored on the tape and in the
camcorder's memory. Details on pages 34-35.
A snapshot taken in the 16X9 mode is
recorded without the black bars.
Snapshots taken in a dark area may become
coarse and lose its true colors.
