Network wiring Although connection DVR to one IP camera with straight Ethernet cable is possible we strongly advise to use additional network switch. By using Ethernet cables connect the cameras and NVR to the switch, like on image below.

To configure IP address for DVR select MAIN MENU / SETUP / NETWORK / NETWORK If you are using DHCP sever for IP address management select OBTAIN IP ADDRESS AUTMATICALY check box.
