Make an Internal Call (Only for Multiple Handsets Models)

This feature is only applicable when there are at least two registered handsets. It
allows you to join a call in progress, make internal calls, transfer external calls from
one handset to another handset and answer an incoming call during an intercom call.
If the called handset is not answered within
60 seconds, the called handset will stop ringing and the calling handset will return to
idle mode.

5.9.1 Join a Call in Progress

Another handset or the telephone base can join an outside call. You can share an
outside call with the telephone base and up to four handsets at the same time.
To join a call with a handset:
When a handset or the telephone base is already on a call, press
another handset to join the call.
Press
or place the handset in the telephone base to exit the call. The call
continues on the other handset until both handsets hang up.
To join a call with the telephone base:
When a handset is already on a call, press
the call.
Press
on the telephone base to exit the call. The call continues until both
devices hand up.

5.9.2 Call Another Handset

If you have two or more handsets, your handset shows Intercom to. Use the
dialing keys to enter a destination device number 7 for the telephone base, or
1 to 5 for HANDSET 1 to HANDSET 5). Your handset shows
Calling HS X/Calling base. The destination device rings and shows
HS X is calling.
3. To answer the intercom call with the destination handset, press
dialing key. Both handsets now show Intercom.

To answer the intercom call at the telephone base, press
