Medium-Long distance transportation for long-term

(Storage or moving the printer to another customer)
Please contact your authorized Mutoh technician for the correct transportation
procedure.

Lock the printer carriage left and right, to avoid that the carriage spontaneously
moves during transportation.
Secure the printer LCD-display with some protective foam. Secure the LCD display
with plastic or paper to avoid the screen becoming dirty.
Fix the front cover + maintenance cover to the printer with insulation tape (which is
easily removable afterwards)
Secure the backup-stick + chip-reader with insulation tape to avoid loss during
transportation
Fix the swingbars to avoid that they move during transportation and don't get
damaged because of transportation-shocks, etc.
Ensure that the ink-bottles are less than half full. When there is too much ink, it
might spill-out during transportation! Fix the ink bottles caps to avoid falling-off
during transportation. 

Pack the keyboard-table + keyboard + mouse separately in a protective packaging. 

Packaging the Zephyr TS in the original box is strongly recommended. When
packing in the original box, the printer can be re-secured on the pallet and fixed with
17mm bolts. To fix / unfix, an electric screwdriver with P2 bit + a 17mm wrench are
required tools!
Make sure the printer is not uniquely standing on its wheels during transportation!
All the feet must be turned-out to avoid the printer, rolling-off of the pallet or
transportation.
