    Use the following instructions if you do not want to connect the printer to a computer. Note: If you want to connect the printer to a computer, use the setup documentation and the printer software CD that came with the printer.

    Original Size Content Type Note: The File Print menu is enabled when you insert a flash drive that contains document files into the printer. The menu is composed of the folders and files stored on the flash drive. Saving settings You can set the default paper size, paper type, and photo print size for the documents and photos that you print.

    OVE THE PRINTER CLOSER TO THE WIRELESS ACCESS POINT If the printer is too far away from the access point, it will not be able to communicate with other devices on the network. For most indoor wireless networks, the maximum distance between the access point and the printer is approximately 100 feet (30 meters).

For best results, remove each printed sheet individually from the paper exit tray, and allow the prints to dry at least 24 hours before stacking, displaying, or storing.

    Press • If you select Borderless, then the printer will reduce or enlarge the document or photo as necessary to print a borderless copy on the paper size that you selected. For best results with this resize setting, use photo paper and set the paper type selection to Photo, or let the printer automatically detect the paper type.

    Load the next page of the original document facedown on the scanner glass, and then press Repeat steps 8 and 9 until all the pages that you want to copy have been saved to the printer memory.
