FRESH WATER
SYSTEM
The fresh water system provides water to the
galley sink, shower, bathroom lavatory, toilet and
water heater. Water may be supplied by either of
two sources:
- a water tank located within the motor home,
or
- any external water source to which the motor
home may be connected, known as "city
water".
FRESH WATER TANK FILLING
PROCEDURES:
Always fill the fresh water tank at an approved
potable water filling facility or a known purified
drinking water source.
Brave SE:
The water tank in Brave SE models is filled
through a gravity fill tube located behind a lock-
ing door on the exterior sidewall of the coach.
Brave:
The tank in basement model Braves may be filled
either by gravity fill or by pressure filling through
the city water connection. A special diverter
valve will route the water from the hose either di-
rectly to the water lines for city water hookup
use, or to the fresh water tank for filling.
Gravity Fill: Insert hose into fill opening and
turn water supply on. Tank is full when water
flows from tank vent tube beneath coach. The
gravity fill tube is located behind a small, lock-
able door on the right (passenger) sidewall to-
ward the back of the coach.

City Water Pressure Fill: Attach hose to city
water connector. Open tank fill valve inside com-
partment, then turn water supply on. Tank is full
when water flows from tank vent tube beneath
coach.
NOTE: Because city water pressure varies from
location to location, we recommend us-
ing an in-line water pressure regulator
to prevent damage to any components,
connections and seals in your fresh wa-
ter system.
A water pressure regulator may be ob-
tained from any well stocked RV dealer-
ship retail center and some retail
discount centers. These devices simply
connect in-line between the supply hose
and the city water input on the coach.
We recommend a regulator that controls
water pressure to 40 psi maximum.
