Removals
When there is artwork to support a procedure, it follows the text.
Covers
Right Cover Removal
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Remove all external trays.
3. Open the top cover.
4. Swing the cover open.
5. Remove the E-clip from the rear pivot pin and lift the cover off the
rear pivot pin.
Front Cover Removal
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the paper tray.
3. Open the top cover.
4. Open the right cover.
5. Remove the Duplex mounting slot covers.
6. Release the latches [B]. You can reach the lower latches through
the paper tray opening.
7. Pull the front cover forward, then move the cover to the right to
separate the on/off switch linkage [D].
8. Disconnect the ground strap from the frame on the left side.
9. Remove the front exit deflector switch.
