Click the Maintain/Troubleshoot button. Click Maintenance. Click Clean to fix horizontal streaks. Click Print. A page prints, forcing ink through the print cartridge nozzles to clean them. Print the document again to verify that the print quality has improved. If print quality has not improved, try cleaning the nozzles up to two more times. If the printer is not functioning properly, or if a communications error message appears when you try to use the printer, you may need to remove and reinstall the printer software.
