1-5-4 Electrical problems

Problem

No electricity at the power

supply unit.
Defective interlock switch.
Defective power supply
unit.
Poor contact in the main
motor connector terminals.
Broken main motor gear.
Defective main motor.
Defective engine PWB
(K0010).
Broken cooling fan coil.
Poor contact in the cooling
fan connector terminals.
Broken feed solenoid coil.
Poor contact in the feed
clutch connector termi-
nals.
Defective engine PWB
(K0010).
Broken MP feed solenoid
coil.
Poor contact in the MP
feed solenoid connector
terminals.
Defective engine PWB
(K0010).
Check procedures/corrective measures
Measure the input voltage.
Check the contact between the power plug and the outlet.
Check the front cover.
Check for continuity. If none, replace the cord.
Check for continuity across the contacts. If none, replace the
power switch.
Check for continuity. If none, remove the cause of blowing and
replace the fuse.
Check for continuity across the contacts of switch. If none, re-
place the switch.
With AC present, check for 24 V DC at CN2-12, 2-13 and 5 V
DC at CN2-1, 2-2 on the power supply unit. If none, replace the
power supply unit.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the con-
nector cable. If none, remedy or replace the cable.
Check visually and replace the main motor if necessary.
Replace the main motor. See page 1-6-15.
Replace the engine PWB (K0010). See page 1-6-9.
Check for continuity across the coil. If none, replace cooling fan.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the con-
nector cable. If none, remedy or replace the cable.
Check for continuity across the coil. If none, replace the feed
clutch.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the con-
nector cable. If none, remedy or replace the cable.
Replace the engine PWB (K0010). See page 1-6-9.
Check for continuity across the coil. If none, replace the MP
feed solenoid.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the con-
nector cable. If none, remedy or replace the cable.
Replace the engine PWB (K0010). See page 1-6-9.
