- SDRAM for MPEG operation
A memory for MPEG2 coder operation.
- Power supply
It generates 5V, 2.5V, 3.3V for HDD, -8V, 13V, 3V for sub-microcomputer, 3.3V, 1.5V, 1.2V, 3.5V, 14V for
LCD back light, 6V for auxiliary light from 3 power sources: 10V from DC jack, 10V from cradle, and
battery.
- Battery charger
2 cell lithium batteries can be charged.
PCB_CCD
A board that equipped with CCD. It is located at the rear end of the lens. It sends the 2CH (left and right)
image signal to AD on the MAIN board. Driving pulse and power (12V, - 8V) is supplied from the
PCB_MAIN.
PCB_BACK
PCB_BACK consists of each switch of jog dial, POWER switch, mode key, menu key, movie REC key,
FILL LIGHT key, auxiliary light key, and cross key, as well as LEDs (PLAY, MEDIA, MREC), 3 STATES
LEDs and XY gyro sensor. It delivers the status of each operation switch to the PCB_MAIN. Then, the
PCB_MAIN displays the information of each LED after receiving them. The PCB-BACK also sends the
analog position information from gyro sensor to the PCB_MAIN.
PCB_JACK
PCB_JACK consists of DC Jack terminal, AV terminal, speaker terminal, microphone terminal and
microphone pre-amp on the camera. It supplies the 10V power from DC jack to PCB_MAIN side through 2
dedicated lines. It also communicates PCB_MAIN to sends/receives information from/to each terminal.
FPC_ZOOM
FPC_ZOOM consists of still image shutter switch and ZOOM volume. It sends the information to
PCB_MAIN through flash unit.
FPC_FRONT
FPC_FRONT consists of TARRY lamp and IR sensor, and is connected to the PCB_MAIN. It receives the
information of TARRY lamp and sends out an IR sensor signal.
FPC_HDD
A flexible tube that connects the 1.8 inch HDD to the PCB_MAIN.
FPC_LCD
A flexible tube that connects the PCB_MAIN to the 2.5 inch LCD monitor. It also contains open/close,
up/down switch of LCD wing.
FPC_STROBE
A flexible tube that connects the PCB_MAIN to the flash light unit.
FPC_CRADLECON
A flexible tube that connects the cradle connector to the PCB_MAIN. It also contains the switch for battery
door.
FPC_HEAD
A flexible tube that connects the PCB_CCD to the PCB_MAIN.
FPC_BACK
A flexible tube that connects the PCB_JACK, the PCB_BACK and the PCB_MAIN.
Lens unit
A lens that consists of iris, ND and 10x zoom function. The line of each motor for iris control, ND control,
and zoom control is connected from the PCB_MAIN and is controlled by the PCB_MAIN as well.
Color LCD
A 2.5 inch color LCD monitor. It is connected to the PCB_MAIN through the FPC_LCD. It receives the
LCD control signal and image signal from the PCB_MAIN and displays them.
Flash unit
It has an auxiliary light LED and flash light function and is connected to the Main board. High voltage
applied to a xenon tube is generated on this board as well. It also handles the connection between
FPC_ZOOM flexible tube and PCB_MAIN.

PCB_CRADLMAIN
PCB_CRADLMAIN consists of DC jack, USB connector, AV jack and LAN terminal. It is connected to the
camera through FPC_TOP flexible tube.
PCB_CRADLESWITCH
PCB_CRADLESWITCH consists of USB, LAN, POWER switch and LEDs for POWER , LAN, USB, MEDIA,
and CHARGE.
