The built-in, maintenance-free fan is mount-
ed on a friction bearing (3237.xxx, 3238.xxx
and 3239.xxx) or ball bearing (3240.xxx,
3241.xxx, 3243.xxx to 3245.xxx), and is
protected against humidity and dust, and
equipped with a temperature monitor.
The life expectancy is at least 40,000 operat-
ing hours (L10, 40°C). The fan-and-filter unit
is thus largely maintenance free.
From time to time, the components may
need to be cleaned using a vacuum
cleaner or compressed air if they
become visibly dirty.
Any stubborn, oily stains may be removed
using a non-flammable detergent, such as
degreaser.
