    TAPE NOTES Take care of your tape cassette to preserve the quality of the recordings. Do not allow them to be exposed to direct sunlight. Store them in a place protected from dirt and dust and avoid handing with greasy or oily hands. Also, keep the away from magnets, and motors of the permanent magnet type.

    INSTALLATION NOTES: Choose the mounting location where the unit will not interfere with the normal driving function of the driver. Before finally installing the unit, connect the wiring temporarily and make sure it is all connected up properly and the unit and the system work properly. Use only the parts included with the unit to ensure proper installation.
  • Page 7 INSTALLATION Install brackets and screws removed from your old radio (not provided with this unit). Slide unit and frame into dash opening. Trim ring has precutgrooves on the back of it. The size of the trim ring can be reduced (made smaller) for different types of installations. Hold the trim ring firmly in one hand, and using a pair of pliers, grasp the trim ring above the score line (groove) and bend gently back and forth a couple of times.
  • Page 8 INSTALLATION CAUTION: DO NOT INSTALL THE DETACHABLE PANEL BEFORE CONNECTING THE WIRE. 1. The unit is designed for negative terminal of the battery which is connected to the vehicle metal. Please confirm it before installation. 2. If the car interior is extremely hot, as after being parked in the sun, do not use the player until the car has been driven for a while to cool off the interior.
