OPERATING THE MACHINE
STOPPING
1. Release the speed control pedal and
depress the brake pedal to stop the
machine.
2. Pull the PTO lever to the "DISENGAGED"
position.
3. Slow the engine down.
CHECK DURING DRIVING
BImmediately Stop the Engine if:
A The engine suddenly slows down or accelerates.
A Unusual noises are suddenly heard.
A Exhaust fumes suddenly become discolored.
While driving, make the following checks to see that all the
parts are functioning normally.
BEasy Checker (TM)
(A) If this warning light comes on during operation, stop the
engine immediately and check level of engine oil.
(See "Checking Engine Oil Level" in "DAILY CHECK" in
"PERIODIC SERVICE" section.)
A To avoid inaccurate accumulation of indicated
operating hours, turn the key switch to "OFF" when the
engine is not running.
BHourmeter (option)
The hourmeter indicates in five digits the hours the
machine has been used; the last digit indicates 1/10 of an
hour.
A As the hour meter works electrically, it starts to work
when the key switch is turned to "ON", regardless of
the engine running or not.
