Symptom
Cameras cannot be controlled.
The control buttons in the
[Camera] tab cannot be enabled.
A camera that is operating in
tracking mode suddenly points up
or down during tracking.
The movement range of the
camera is narrow during camera
control (pan/tilt).
Camera images are displayed
upside down.
The up, down, left, and right
directions are reversed during
camera control.
The [Pan Reverse] or [Tilt
Reverse] setting turns off during
startup or recall of presets, even
after it is enabled.
I want to restore the factory default
conditions.
Configured date and time settings
change when the unit is restarted.
The touchscreens do not respond
to taps.
Possible cause
Remote control registration has not
been performed.
The connection cable is faulty.
The baud rate of the connected
camera is incorrect.
Tracking is in progress in tracking
mode.
The [Pan/Tilt Limit] settings have
not been configured for the
camera.
The [Pan/Tilt Limit] settings have
been configured for the camera.
The settings on the camera are
upside down.
The [Pan Reverse] and [Tilt
Reverse] settings in the [Camera
Settings] screen are not configured
correctly.
The camera does not support the
[Pan Reverse] or [Tilt Reverse]
setting.

Incorrect date and time displays
may indicate that the internal
battery is low.
You are touching a screen that is
not related to the current
operation.
Solution
Configure the settings that enable remote control.

Settings" (page 93).
Check that cables that were properly connected are
being used.

(page 113).
Set the baud rate of the connected camera to
38,400 bps.
For details, refer to the instruction manual for the
camera.
Stop tracking.
For details, see "Stopping tracking" (page 69) in the
"Using Tracking Mode" section.
Configure the [Pan/Tilt Limit] settings. You can
prevent the target from moving out of view during
tracking by doing so.

(page 67).
Reset the [Pan/Tilt Limit Setting] in the [Tracking
Settings] screen, or use the camera's remote
controller to turn off the [Pan/Tilt Limit] settings.

Check the vertical image flip setting on the camera.

camera.
Configure the [Pan Reverse] and [Tilt Reverse]
settings in the [Camera Settings] screen.

The [Pan Reverse] and [Tilt Reverse] settings cannot
be configured on SRG-300H, EVI-H100V, or
EVI-H100S cameras.
