RPS LED

The RPS LED shows the operating status of a connected redundant power
unit. Indicator states include:
Off — The redundant power supply is not connected.
Green — The redundant power supply is operating normally.
Red — The redundant power supply has failed.

Console Port

The console interface can be accessed from the RS-232 serial port or a
Telnet connection. The console port uses a standard null-modem cable. For
instructions on configuring your switch using the console, see
Interface."

Port LEDs

Each port has a dedicated LED whose mode may be switched using the button
located on the front panel. The LED mode button will toggle through the
following modes:
Link/Act Mode
Speed Mode
Duplex/Collision Mode.

Off
No 10/100-Mbps link is established.
Steady green
A link is established on the port.
Blinking green
There is data transmission on the port.

A 10-Mbps link is established or no link.

A 100-Mbps link is established on the port.

Port is operating on Half-Duplex mode or no
link.
Steady green
Port is operating on Full-Duplex mode.
Blinking green
Port is operating on Half-Duplex and a collision
occurs.
