Handset set-up

1 Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset.
2 Install the new batteries one by one, noting the polarity of the batteries,
and replace the battery cover.
3 The message " SAGEMCOM " is displayed on the screen for a few
seconds.
4 The Language menu is displayed.
5 Select your language using the  or  keys and select using the

Note If the message "Please Register" appears, refer to
"Associating a new handset", page 46.
Important Upon making your first call, the handset makes some slight
audio adjustments to support HD communications on your
line. Within the first 30 seconds you may hear an echo
while this adjustment takes place then the echo will
disappear. This echo will only happen during the first
seconds of the first call and would only happen again if the
unit is unplugged.
