Operator Print Tests - IBM 6400 Operator's Manual

This procedure describes how to run the
operator print tests. Although you may run
these tests at any time, to obtain predictable
results, all tests should be run while no data
is in the print buffer. The following tests may
be run: Printer Demonstration, Print Error
Log, Ripple Print, All E's, All H's, All E's & FF
and Underlines.
In the following procedure, printing the error
log is shown as an example.
Press Stop to place the printer in the
NOT READY state.
Press Scroll + Scroll
time to unlock the program state.
Press Menu to access the OPERATOR
MENU.
Press Scroll to scroll forward to the
OPERATOR PRINT TESTS menu.
Press Enter to enter this menu.
Press Scroll until you reach the test
you want to run.
