Connecting camera to a computer with Micro USB cable:
Connect your computer to EDGE X using the included Micro USB cable. After connection, camera will
turn on and screen below showing MSDC / CHARGE / OPEN will appear. Use UP or DOWN button to
select and press OK button to confirm. If no choice is selected, the camera will remain on the initial
screen.
MSDC: When this choice is selected, the screen shown below will appear and EDGE X will be detected
by the computer and files can be transferred by dragging and dropping.
CHARGE: Select this choice to charge the Li-ion battery. The included lithium-ion battery comes
partially charged. To charge the Li-ion battery:
1. Insert micro USB plug into camera's micro USB port.
2. Insert other end of cable into a computer USB port or Intova Universal USB charger/AC adapter.
3. LCD should show MSDC, CHARGE and OPEN.
4. Scroll down to select CHARGE and press OK button.
5. When this choice is selected, LCD will turn off.
6. When charging, red LED on battery door will turn on.
7. When charge is complete, red LED will turn off.
8. Please note: no damage will occur to the camera or battery if used prior to a full charge.
9. Important: DO NOT allow Li-ion battery to become fully discharged. If not using camera for a
prolonged period, recharge every 3 months to prevent battery from becoming fully discharged.
OPEN: Recharge the battery power and use the camera at the same time. When this choice is selected,
LCD will show live view.
