shall be installed in an indoor environment where the rain or snow could not pour it.

1.5.2 Hardware preparation

When using a PoE-enabled router/switch

1) Open the package. Take out the camera out of the box carefully.

2) Get the camera connected to the router.

Connect the Network Camera to a PoE-enabled router/ switch via Ethernet cable at your home

or your office.

3)The camera takes approximately 30 seconds to start up before it displays an IP address on the

IP Camera Tool (details: 2.1)

4) When the network cable plugged correctly, the small green light (network jack) will turn on

and the small yellow light will flash. The network light will blink. (about 1~2 times per second)

and the power light will also turn on.

When using a non-PoE router/switch

1) Open the package. Take out the camera out of the box carefully.

2) Get the camera connected to the router and get it powered

Use the network cable to connect the camera to the router or the switch in the LAN network at

your home or your office. Plug in the power. The green network light at the rear of the camera will

blink and the camera will automatically pan/tilt. The red power light will also turn on.

3)The camera takes approximately 30 seconds to start up before it displays an IP address on the

IP Camera Tool (details: 2.1)

4) When the network cable plugged correctly, the small green light (network jack) will turn on

and the small yellow light will flash. The network light will blink. (about 1~2 times per second)

and the power light will also turn on.

Note:

If the router or switch has POE function, and you pluged the network cable and power

adapter,The camera will be powered through the power adapter priorly.

2 SOFTWARE OPERATION

When the Device has been mounted properly, you can double click the icon "IP Camera Tool"

and a dialog box as Figure 2.1 will pop up.
