Disconnect the starter motor
lead.
Negative battery lead
1 Engine skid plate (front)
2 Neutral switch
3 Oil hose
4 Chain cover
5 Nut (drive sprocket)
6 Lock washer
7 Drive sprocket
8 Clip
9 Bolt (brake pedal)
10 Brake pedal
ENGINE REMOVAL
Q'ty
Refer to "AC MAGNETO AND
STARTER CLUTCH" section for remov-
ing the starter motor lead.
Refer to "ELECTRIC STARTING SYS-
TEM" section in the CHAPTER 6.
Disconnect at the starter motor side.
