RECESSED, CLOSET AND ALCOVE INSTALLATION
The installation spacing is in inches and is the minimum acceptable.
Other installations must use the minimum dimension indicated.
Minimum clearances between dryer cabin
Minimum vertical space from floor to overhead cabinets, etc. is 52" (132cm).
Closet door must be louvered or otherwise ventilated and must contain a min
area equally distributed. If this closet contains both a washer and a dryer, doors must contain a minimum of
120 sq. in. of open area equally distributed.
