Install Your New Fridge Freezer Location When selecting a position to place your appliance you should make sure that the floor is flat and firm, and the room well ventilated. Avoid localing your appliance near a heat source, e.g. Cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct sunlight in outbuildings or sun lounges.
Reverse the door swing • Ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty. Adjust the two levelling feet to their highest position. • We recommend you have someone to assist you. Tools required • Phillips style screwdriver • Flat bladed screwdriver Note: To take the door off, it is necessary to tilt the appliance backward.
Getting Started Switching on your Fridge Freezer 1 Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply make sure that the thermostat control dial is set at position Off. This is located on the upper part of the Fridge. Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to set it to the desired position, bear in mind that the higher the number, the colder the temperature.

Keep raw meats on a plate which is large enough to collect juices and cover it with ding film or foil. To Thaw frozen foods 1. Cover food loosely. . Thaw at room temperature. Don t forget that thawing in a warm area encourages the growth of bacteria. . Always make sure there are no ice crystals in the food before cooking, particularly with meat. These crystals indicate that the food is not fully thawed.
Cleaning Cleaning the outside of the Fridge Freezer Use standard furniture polish to clean the Appliance Exterior. Make sure that the door is closed, preventing polish getting on the magnetic door seal or inside on to the food. Do not use harsh cleaners, scouring pads or solvents to clean any part of your appliance, as this may scratch the enamel. Cleaning the inside of the Fridge Freezer Make sure that the Fridge Freezer has been turned off at the mains before cleaning.
Noises You may hear some unusual noises from time to time. See ‘Noises inside the Fridge Freezer’ on page 6. However if your appliance begins to make noises you have not heard before call the Authorized Service Agent. If you are not able to identify and eliminate the faults according to the above recommendations, contact the Authorized Service Agent, advising of model number of the appliance which is shown on the back of the rating plate.
