New Vehicle Limited Warranty

Winnebago Industries, Inc.
Congratulations on your purchase of the new Itasca Sunstar motor home, which was built proudly
by Winnebago Industries the first name in motor homes.
The enclosed new vehicle limited warranties are divided into three main parts: Coach Body,
Chassis/Cab, and Emission Control Systems. As with most RV's, warranty responsibilities are
shared between the RV manufacturer (Winnebago Industries) and the chassis manufacturer
(Volkswagen of America, Inc.).
The Coach Body portion of your motor home is warranted by Winnebago Industries for 1 year or
15,000 miles. This includes the coach section exterior, interior and RV equipment. In addition,
there is a 3 year or 36,000 mile structural warranty.
The Chassis/Cab portion of the vehicle is warranted by Volkswagen of America, Inc. for 2 years or
24,000 miles. The Powertrain is covered for 5 years or 50,000 miles. To learn which authorized
Winnebago Industries or Volkswagen dealers will be able to perform such warranty services,
please consult your Winnebago Industries dealer or call Volkswagen at 1-800-822-8987.
The Federal Emission warranty is for 2 years or 24,000 miles and 8 years or 80,000 miles on
specified parts. Emission control systems are warranted by Winnebago Industries but only
selected Volkswagen dealers will be able to perform emissions warranty services. To learn which
dealers have the capability of performing emissions warranty repairs, please consult your
Winnebago Industries dealer or call Volkswagen at 1-800-822-8987.
