    Overview Overview Using PageScope Web Connection PageScope Web Connection is a device management utility supported by the HTTP server integrated into the printer controller. Using a Web browser on a computer connected to the network, machine settings can be specified and the status of the machine can be checked. In addition to the convenience of specifying some settings from your computer instead of with the machine’s control panel, text can easily be typed in.

    Overview Web browser cache The most recent information may not appear in the PageScope Web Connection pages because older versions of pages are saved in the cache for the Web browser. In addition, problems may occur when the cache is used. When using PageScope Web Connection, disable the cache for the Web browser.

    Overview Detail The logon page that appears differs depending on the authentication settings specified on the machine. If a timeout occurs because no operation is performed for a set length of time while logged on or if the authentication settings are changed from the machine’s control panel while logged on to User mode, you will automatically be logged off.

    Overview Logging on as a registered user If user authentication settings have been specified on the machine, the name and password for a registered user is required to log on. In the logon page, enter the user name and the password, and then click the [Login] button.

    Overview Logging on to Administrator mode In order to specify system and network settings, log on to Administrator mode. In the logon page, select "Administrator" and then click the [Login] button, enter the administrator password, and then click the [OK] button.

You can select from five tabs (Information, Job, Box, Direct Print, and Store Address).
