REMOVING THE COOLING FAN MOTOR

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2. Remove the microwave oven from its
mounting location (see page 4-17 for the
procedure).
3. Remove the cabinet from the microwave
oven (see page 4-18 for the procedure).
Cooling Fan Motor
4. Disconnect the cooling fan motor con-
nector from the main harness (see the
top right photo).
5. Remove the three T10 torx screws from
the cooling fan motor housing and re-
move the housing from the chassis.

6. Remove the two screws and washers
from the cooling fan motor and remove it
from the housing.
7. Pull the fan off the motor shaft.
