Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
EXHAUST FAN MOTOR CAPACITOR
Refer to page 4-29 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the exhaust fan motor capacitor.
1.
Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2.
Disconnect the wires from the terminals.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 10K scale.
4.
Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the ca-
pacitor terminals. The meter should indi-
cate several thousand ohms and gradu-
ally return to infinity.

COOLING FAN MOTOR
Refer to page 4-30 for the procedure for ac-
cessing the cooling fan motor.
1.
Unplug microwave oven or disconnect
power.
2.
Disconnect the cooling fan motor con-
nector from the wiring harness.
3.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
4.
Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
motor pins. The meter should indicate 41
±5 Ω.
