Printer Troubles
Memo
z If the problem is not solved using the following explanation, contact your designated customer service center.
Symptom
Nothing is displayed in the
liquid crystal panel even after
switching on the power supply.
Does not function.
LED lamp of the power supply
switch is blinking at high speed
at about 0.3 seconds interval.
Printing process does not start. Error is displayed.
Liquid crystal display of the
operation panel is blank.
Cause
Power supply cord is
disconnected.
Power outage.
Power supply cord is not
inserted firmly.
Power supply is not switched
on.
The printer has broken down.
LAN Cable/USB Cable is not
connected.
LAN Cable/USB Cable is
defective.
LAN Cable/USB Cable does not
meet the standards.
There may be a problem with
the print function.
Interface is disabled.
Printer driver is not selected.
Output port of printer driver is
incorrect.
Printer is in sleep mode.

Troubleshooting
Switch off the power supply, and
firmly insert the power supply
cord.
Check if electricity is flowing in
the power socket.
Firmly insert the power supply
cord.
Switch on the power supply.
Immediately switch off
the main power supply,
and contact the
designated customer
service center.
Check the error code, and follow
the instructions displayed on the
liquid crystal panel.
Firmly insert LAN Cable/USB
Cable.
Use another LAN Cable/USB
Cable.
z Use a cable of USB 2.0
specifications.
z Use a cable of LAN Cable
1000 BASE-T Specifications.
Check whether you can print the
printer information or not.
From [Admin Setup]>[Network
Setup] on the operation panel,
enable the interface you are
using.
Set the printer driver to "default
printer".
Specify the output port where
LAN cable/USB cable is to be
connected.
Touch the [POWER SAVE]
button on the operation panel,
and change the status to the
standby mode.
