7.2.1 Mounting and removal of the display

Please always turn the Pedelec off first before you
remove the display ➠ Chapter 7.1.1 "Switching on/off".
› In order to protect your Pedelec from undesir-
able use by third parties or theft, the display
should always be removed from the handlebar
when the Pedelec is not in use.
› You can protect the display from theft by means
of a self-tapping countersunk screw for plastic.
Contact your specialist cycle shop about this.
Mounting:
Place the display on the display holder at an angle of
approx. 30 degrees.
Using light pressure, turn the display through 30 degrees
in a clockwise direction so that both components are
aligned with one another. In the process, you can clearly
feel the display lock into place. At the same time, ensure
that the display is correctly aligned.

Removal:
Turn the display approx. 30 degrees anticlockwise on the
display holder. In doing so, the electrical connections are
undone and the display can be removed.

7.2.2 Menu availability

When the "M" is visible on the display, you can carry out
settings in the menu. The "M" is not displayed while you
are riding the Pedelec or while the Pedelec is rolling.

You can also find information on the assist modes in
➠ Chapter 7.4.2 "Assist mode".
The selected assist level is displayed graphically on the
far left of the display. Above the diamond you will see the
assist levels 1 to 5. The higher the selected assist level,
the more assistance the motor provides with constant
pedal force.
