• To change the password select the entry CHANGE.

• Enter in the line OLD PASSWORD the valid pass-
word with the number buttons 2(. The tab changes
to the next line NEW PASSWORD.
• Enter the new password with the number buttons
2(. The tab changes to the next line CONFIRM PW.
• Enter the new password with the number buttons
2(. The tab changes to the OK field.
• Press the button OK d ENTER 5@. The password
has now been changed.
Note:
In the event that you forget your password
you can use the factory default password
(888888).

• Select the last menu in the toolbar and press the
button OK d ENTER 5@ to exit the setup menu.

9. Sound functions

9.1 To control the Volume
Press the button VOL+ o 4! to increase the volume.
Press the button VOL- a 4) to decrease the volume.
9.2 Mute
Press the MUTE 5& button to switch off the sound.
To switch the sound on again press the MUTE 5&
button once more or press one of the buttons VOL+
o 4! or VOL- a 4).
10. Playback of DVD,
SVCD, VCD and CD
discs
10.1 Inserting the disc
• Open the disc tray h of the DVD player by
pressing the OPEN/CLOSE
"OPEN" will now appear in the display.
• Place a DVD/VCD/S-VCD with the inscribed/
labelled side facing up in the disc tray h.
• Close the flap of the disc tray h.
"LOAD" will appear in the display.
• The contents of the inserted DVD/VCD/S-VCD
will now be loaded; this may take a few seconds.
• Playback of the inserted DVD/VCD/S-VCD starts
automatically.
Note:
DVDs, that you want to playback with the
DVD player may possibly have a country
code, which is printed on the DVD jacket.
The DVD player can only playback DVDs
with the country code 2.
If no country code is printed on the jacket of
a DVD...
