Quick Start Installation Guide
INTRODUCTION
This quick start guide contains information about how to install and configure the Audio-
Codes™ MP-100/104 Gateway. Although this guide covers both the MP-100 and MP-104
Gateways, the installation instructions apply to the MP-104. This gateway is the latest version
that is available through the Inter-Tel
refer to the latest version of the IP Devices Manual.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
The following lists the system requirements for installing the AudioCodes MP-100/104 Gate-
way:
SYSTEM DATABASE PROGRAMMING
The IPRC firmware version determines how Axxess is programmed to support the gateways.
For details about system database programming, refer to the documents listed below.

To install the MP-104: Unpack the box, and set up the MP-104 gateway device through the AudioCodes BootP/TFTP Server program (see below).   • Page 4 Detach and unzip the BootP and MP_104 zip files that are provided in the Inter-Tel AudioCodes CD (part no. 827.9920) into this folder. You may want to create a sub- folder for the BootP zip file within the same folder. The folder should look like the one shown below.

NOTE: The file names may be different depending on the version and date that the files are created.
  • Page 6 Double-click bootp.exe to launch the AudioCodes BootP/TPTF Server program. The following screen appears. NOTE: Ensure the AudioCodes BootP/TFTP Server application is the only BootP server running. If another server, such as the IPRC, is running at the same time, it may cause problems with the download.
