Chapter 2. System design overview

The M12 and M14 switches are designed with a number of features that ensure
that these switches are highly available, reliable, and serviceable. These products
have a number of modular design features, allowing for ease and speed of
maintenance, as well as future expansion. Some of the basic features are shown in
Figure 1 and Figure 2 on page 4, and are described in sections below.
