70. Put on O-ring (1) and thread seal ring (2) on.
Install the propeller shaft flange and install a new nut.
Tighten the nut.
NOTE! Start off with low torque and check with a
spring balance. Please refer to item 71.
71. Use spring balance 9985494 to check that the cor-
rect pre-load has been obtained.
Pre-load: 8.5-16.0 N (1.91-3.60 lbf)
Tighten the nut progressively until the correct pre-load
has been obtained.

72. Disassemble the outer bearing race with tool no.
884720.
Remove the shim and the O-ring.
