Carburetor Float Bowl
Drain (350)
Periodically, the float bowl should be
drained to remove condensation. To drain
the float bowl, use the following proce-
dure.
1. Direct the hose from the float bowl
drain into a container.
! WARNING
Do not drain float bowl contents
directly onto the engine. Gasoline is
highly flammable and could ignite.
Use a hose.
2. Loosen the drain screw and allow
the gasoline and condensation to
flow out.
3. Tighten the drain screw securely and
remove the hose.
! WARNING
It is very important that the drain
screw be tightened securely. If it is
not tightened securely, gasoline
could drip onto the engine.

Electric Fuel Pump (425)

An electric fuel pump is incorporated in
the gas tank to deliver gasoline to the fuel
injector. The fuel pump is activated when
the ignition switch is in the ON position.
NOTE: Both the ignition and fuel
pump functions will be interrupted
by the Tilt Sensor if the ATV tips
over past 60° -70° . Righting the ATV
will reactivate the ignition and fuel
pump.

Oil Level Stick

AF925
There is an oil level stick for checking
the engine oil level. To check the oil
level, use the following procedure.
NOTE: The ATV should be on
level ground when checking the
engine oil level.
1. Unscrew the oil level stick and wipe
it with a clean cloth.
2. Install the oil level stick and thread it
into the engine case.
3. Remove the oil level stick; the
engine oil level should be above the
"L" mark but not higher than the "F"
mark.
CAUTION
Do not overfill the engine with oil.
Always make sure the oil level is
above the "L" mark but not higher
than the "F" mark.
