Once you have allowed the adhesive to dry for 24 hrs on the fireplace kit, you can now install the me-
dallion. You will need a 15' ratchet strap to hold it in place while the adhesive dries. Take measure-
ments from top to bottom and right to left of the chimney to find the center. Take the strap and put it
around the chimney loosely. Apply concrete adhesive to the back of the medallion and position the
orientation either square or diamond then hold it in place. With another person, position the strap
over the medallion around the chimney and ratchet the strap to hold it in place. Allow 48 hrs for
adhesive to dry then remove the ratchet strap.
