Call control from the PC

You can initiate calls using a CTI program (CTI = Compu-
ter Telephony Integration). The call is conducted as usu-
al on your handset.
The CTI program depends on your communications
platform:
• OpenScape Office LX/MX: myPortal
• OpenScape Voice: WebClient

Initiating calls from the PC

Call a subscriber using a CTI program (see operating in-
structions for software).
Your handset rings and the message "CTI Call In" and
the phone number/name of the subscriber is displayed.
Accept the call. As soon as you lift the handset, the sub-
scriber is called.
