Touch Panel

If you press the [FAX] button on the control panel, the functions currently selected and used and the status
of the equipment are displayed on the touch panel. When a graphic symbol blinks, rectify the problem by

referring to "12. WHEN THE GRAPHIC SYMBOLS FLASH ON THE TOUCH PANEL" of the [Operator's
Manual for Basic Function].

The following information is shown here:
- Copier status
- Operation instruction
- Cautionary messages
- Transmission resolution
- The number of the specified remote Faxes
Touch-button Area
The various function items shown here are touch-button selectable. Press any button lightly with your finger.
- Index buttons
Used for switching the address, destination, advanced functions, and file saving.
- Function setting area
This is where you select or set various functions.
