10: [INTERRUPT] button
Use this button to interrupt the copying job in process and to perform another copying job from the original
glass.
You can resume the interrupted copying job by pressing this button again.
This button is not used in the Fax mode.
11: [JOB STATUS] button
Use this button to confirm the status of a copy or print job and the journal for TX or RX for Fax.
12: [ACCESS] button
Use this button when the department codes have been set.
If this button is pressed after the Fax operation, the next user cannot use this equipment without keying
in the registered department code. (See the [User Functions Guide].)
13: [ENERGY SAVER] button
When you do not operate the equipment, pressing the [ENERGY SAVER] button for at least 2 seconds
makes the equipment enter the energy saving mode. This will automatically turn off the touch panel
display and all lamps. To use Fax, press the [ENERGY SAVER] button again or the [FAX] button. (Even
if the [ENERGY SAVER] button is pressed, the power supply to the Fax board is not cut off, which allows
automatic return of the equipment when it receives Fax data.)
14:[FUNCTION CLEAR] button
When this button is pressed, all selected modes are cleared and returned to the default settings.
*Automatic Function Clear
Even if you do not press the [FUNCTION CLEAR] button, within the specified period of time after Fax is
finished or after the last button is pressed in a Fax procedure, the automatic function clear mode will
return to default settings, and the basic screen will be displayed.
While the department management function is being operated, the display returns to the department code
input screen. See the [Operator's Manual for Basic Function].
15: [STOP] button
Use this button to stop an ongoing Fax operation.
16: [START] button
Press this button to start sending a Fax or manually receiving a Fax.
17: DIGITAL KEYS
Use these keys to enter the telephone and Fax numbers, ID numbers and password.
18: [CLEAR] button
Use this button to correct numbers such as an incorrect Fax number entered with the digital keys.
19: ERROR lamp
ERROR lamp lights in red when an error occurs and the equipment needs some actions.
20: [MONITOR/PAUSE] button
This button is used for on-hook transmission or pause entry.
Pressing this button in the middle of direct entry will display '-' as a 'pause' on the screen.
21: TOUCH PANEL
The state of the Fax and directions for its operation are expressed as characters and illustrations.
