Engine shut down

1. Cool engine at 2000 rpm
2. Throttle – idle
3. Transceiver, beacon, gyroscopes and other segmental switches – switch off
4. Magnetos – off
5. Master switch – switch off
3.14.

Leaving airplane

1. Magnetos, master switch and segmental switches – switched off - check
2. Fuel cocks - close
3. Emergency parachute system - lock (if installed)
4. Canopy – close, lock
5. Chock aeroplane or tie down, cover canopy
