Procedures on holding point

1. Brakes – brake on
2. Engine speed – set idle
3. Controls – check free motion
4. Trim – in neutral position
5. Flaps – adjust take off position
6. Fuel – check quantity; open a fuel tank with suffi cient quantity
(If is left fuel tank fi lled with more than ½ of fuel capacity, it is necessary to switch fuel cock to the left fuel tank.)
7. Fuel pump – switch on and check fuel pressure
8. Propeller – set a minimum angle for take-off (if it is adjustable)
9. Magnetos – check if both circles are switched on
10. Master – check if it is switched on
11. Engine instruments – check instrument values
12. Engine intake - set controller to fresh air (if it is mounted in the airplane)
13. Altimeter – set up
14. Safety belts – have to be fasten and tighten
15. Canopy –have to be closed and locked
16. Traffi c pattern area – clear for entry to RWY
