The Allowed Applications section displays the
following:
DNS (Domain Name Server)
domain name server.
– select to allow/enable hypertext transfer
HTTP
protocol.
– select to allow/enable secure hypertext
HTTPS
transfer protocol.
– select to allow/enable file transfer protocol.
FTP
E-mail (POP3)
– select to allow/enable post office
protocol version 3.
– select to allow/enable threat model
E-mail (IMAP)
and analysis program.
– select to allow/enable telephone network.
Telnet
– select to allow/enable real-time transport
RTP
protocol.
To select Allowed Applications:

From the Port Filtering screen, select the
check box.

want to allow Internet access.

Note:
The device uses standard ports for these applications. If
you have applications that do not use the standard
ports or that are not listed under Allowed Applications,
use Custom Applications.

Custom Applications

The Custom Applications section allows you to enter
custom application information to include in your list of
Allowed Applications.
To set up port filtering for a custom application, you will
need to know the port numbers (up to five ports or port
ranges) and the protocol (TCP, UDP, or both) the
application uses for its outgoing traffic.

Port Filtering
