4.4 Handset Datecodes

Siemens is using the industrial standard DIN EN 60062 to indicate the production / service
dates. The code is printed on the IMEI sticker located in the battery compartment.
The first character of the datecode indicates the year of production:
The second character indicates the month of production:
Example: „JO" means that the set was produced in october of 1997.
