Testing t he c amera c overage a rea:
One of Wildview Cam Scouting Camera's features is the ability to test the
coverage a rea.
1. After m ounting t he c amera, o pen f ront h ousing a nd s lide t he C AM t oggle
switch t o T EST p osition. T he f ront L CD w ill d isplay t he w ord " tESt".
2. Close t he f ront h ousing.
3. Walk around to the front of the camera to see if you have mounted the
camera i n t he p roper p osition. T he g reen T EST l ight i ndicator o n t he f ront
will b link w hen y ou h ave i ntruded t he c overage a rea.
4. Adjust the camera position as needed and repeat testing until the
desired c overage a rea i s a chieved.
5. When you have completed testing the coverage area, open the front
housing and slide the CAM toggle switch from TEST position to the ON
position.
Ø Caution: Do n ot m ove t he s witch f rom T EST d irectly t o O N. D oing s o
will cause the camera not to operate. Slide the switch to OFF. Wait
for the front LCD screen to turn off, then continue to slide the switch
to O N.
6. The front LCD counter will show "00000" and the green indicator light
will s tart b linking. T he c amera w ill e nter c ount d own m ode f or 1 m inute,
giving you one minute to leave the coverage area. Then camera will be
armed a nd e nter t he P IR d etection m ode.
NOTE: Make sure you slide the power switch from TEST mode to ON
mode b efore y ou l eave t he f ield, o therwise t he C amera w ill n ot t ake a ny
pictures.
