Internal Dialing

The Internal Dialing window lets the administrator configure the first basic
elements of the UC320W dial plan. The default settings were accepted for purposes
of this document, as an example only. The online help system may be consulted for
explanations of how to use the various options. The administrator should note that
this task only determines the local extensions used for devices, including IP phones.
The task of mapping Cbeyond DIDs to local extensions takes places in a later phase
of the configuration. Having said that, with careful planning it may be possible for
the customer to assign extensions base on the last 3 or 4 digits of assigned DIDs, for
example. This can simplify dialing in some cases.
