Cause
The LASER CLASS
2060 is calling the
receiving fax
machine.
The toner cartridge
is not installed
properly.
The front cover is
open.
A document is
jammed in the
Automatic
Document Feeder
(ADF).
The size of the
paper in the paper
cassette/the
multi-purpose tray
differs from that
specified in the
PAPER SIZE setting.
You cannot perform
polling receiving.
Action
If you want to cancel
the transmission,
press the Stop
button.
Make sure the toner
cartridge is installed
properly. See page 2-
33.
Close the front
cover.
Remove the
document you are
trying to send or
copy and load it
again. See page 13-5.
Set the correct paper
size in the PAPER
SIZE setting. See
pages 15-12 and
15-13.
Make sure the
subaddress/
passwords match
the settings on the
other party's fax
unit. If the other
party's fax is a
Canon fax, ask them
to set the polling ID
of their fax to 255
decimal or 1111 1111
binary.
