Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause serious damage to electronic components, including the AFL-HM55. Dry climates are especially susceptible to ESD. It is therefore critical that whenever the AFL-HM55 is accessed internally, or any other electrical component is handled, the following anti-static precautions are strictly adhered to.
AFL-HM55 Series Panel PC 3.3 Installation and Configuration Steps The following installation steps must be followed. Remove the HDD cover Step 1: Install a SATA DOM card Step 2: Install an HDD Step 3: Remove the rear panel cover Step 4:...
Lift the cover off to expose the HDD slot and SATA DOM card slot. Step 2: 3.5 Installing a SATA DOM Card The AFL-HM55 Series has one SATA DOM card slot inside the rear panel. To install a SATA DOM card, follow the instructions below. Remove the HDD cover (See Section 3.4).
AFL-HM55 Series Panel PC Figure 3-2: SATA DOM Card Installation Replace the HDD cover and secure using one (1) retention screw. Step 3: 3.6 Installing an HDD To install an HDD, please follow the steps below: Remove the HDD cover (See Section 3.4).
