This equipment is not designed for making emergency telephone calls when the power
fails. Alternative arrangements should be made for access to emergency services.

Safety

General
Only use the power supply included with the product. Using an unauthorised power
supply will invalidate your guarantee and may damage the telephone. The item code for
the base power supply is 872260. The item code for the charger power supply is: 003313
(only available if you have purchased a BT Freelance XD 110 Twin pack).
For the handset use only approved Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries.
Never use other batteries or conventional alkaline batteries. Recommended batteries
should have a power rating of 550mAh 1.2V. Batteries are available from the
BT Freelance XD 110 Helpline on 0870 605 8047.
Do not open the handset, base or charger. This could expose you to high voltages or
other risks. Contact the BT Freelance XD 110 Helpline for all repairs.
Radio signals transmitted between the handset and base may cause interference to
hearing aids.
It is recommended that advice from a qualified expert be sought before using this
product in the vicinity of emergency/ intensive care medical equipment.
