Technical information
How many telephones can you have?
All items of telephone equipment have a Ringer Equivalence Number (REN), which is
used to calculate the number of items which may be connected to any other telephone
line. Your BT Freelance XD 110 has a REN of 1. A total REN of 4 is allowed. If the total
REN of 4 is exceeded, the telephone may not ring.
With different telephone types there is no guarantee of ringing, even when the REN is
less than 4.
Only use approved base power supply – item code: 872260.
Only use charger power supply – item code: 003313 (only applicable if you have
purchased the BT Freelance XD 110 Twin pack).
Only use recommended NiMH batteries 2 x AAA, 550mAh 1.2V.
