General information
Switchboard compatibility
This product is intended for use within the UK for connection to the public telephone
network and compatible switchboards, which support tone dialling and timed break
recall. If in doubt please consult your service provider.
Switchboard external line
access code
You may need to enter an access code (e.g. 9) in order to get an outside line. So that
the switchboard has time to pick up an outside line, you may also need to add a Pause
after the access code.
Automatically insert a pause after an access code
With some switchboards you may need to dial a pause after entering the switchboard
access code, e.g. 9, 11 etc. to enable you to get an outside line.
This feature automatically inserts a pause between the access code and the telephone
number that you have entered in the Phonebook. However, for this feature to work
you must still enter the access code at the front of the telephone number when storing
in the Phonebook.
