Ensure that the machine is plugged into an outlet rated for the proper voltage and amperage. The V-Hazer is a 900 watt device and will draw 4A at 230 VAC or 8A at 115 VAC. Note: 230 volt machines are shipped with bare leads at the end of the power cord.
DMX Control from your lighting desk is available as a standard option. The V-Hazer will use 2 channels of DMX control: Channel one controls haze output volume and channel two controls fan speed.
To ensure silent operation when not in use, the fan of the V-Hazer will automatically shut-down after 30 seconds of inactivity. The fan will come back on when the machine begins to produce haze again. The Standby Button allows the machine to be “turned off” from the remote without using the Main Pow- er Switch.
Setting the DMX Address The V-Hazer uses two channels of DMX. To set the starting DMX address of the machine, press either the UP or DOWN arrow on the DMX panel to activate the display. Then, press the UP or DOWN Button again to change the value until the desired address is displayed.
Replace the empty bottle with a new bottle of Rosco V-Hazer Fluid, insert the fluid tube insuring that the filter at the end of the tube is fully submerged, and reattach the fluid cap.
