Closed Loop
Engine cranks but does not start
Possible cause
Lanyard not plugged in.
Defective fuse.
Too little or no fuel in the tank.
Cable harness plug connections not
plugged in or not plugged in correctly.
Spark plugs defective.
Engine stalls but can be started again
Possible cause
Too little or no fuel in the tank.
Too much motor oil.
Remedy
Plug in lanyard.
Check the fuses in the cable harness.
Fill up fuel.
Check the engine for signs of leaky fuel
lines and, if necessary, have it checked by a
professional shop.
Check plug connections.
Check the spark plugs and, if necessary,
replace them. See Chapter Spark plugs.
Remedy
Fill up fuel.

Check the oil level.

Excessive motor oil must be pumped out as
quickly as possible.
